David Gunther, IFA provides residential real estate appraisals for mortgages, relocation, and legal purposes in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. In 1976 he moved to the Dallas area and worked as a staff appraiser for a large mortgage company. In 1979 he earned the respected "Senior Residential Appraiser" designation from the Society of Real Estate Appraisers. In 1983, he founded MetroCrest Appraisals, to appraise primarily residential property for mortgage loans and relocations. He is a licensed broker for the state of Texas, and a member of the MetroTex Association of Realtors. He has been a past or current member in the following real estate appraisal organizations: Appraisal Institute; Employee Relocation Council; International Association of Assessing Officers; National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers; Relocation Appraisers Consortium; and the Society of Real Estate Appraisers. He graduated "with distinction" from Arizona State University. Since graduation, he has taken a variety of continuing education courses from the Appraisal Institute, Employee Relocation Council, National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, Federal National Mortgage Association, the Mortgage Corporation, and the National Association of Realtors.

    MetroCrest Appraisals was created to provide residential appraisals for the crest of development in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. It is staffed by 2 state certified appraisers, so allows some greater depth to meet the needs of our clients. The office provides prompt, courteous service, and has the latest in digital cameras, digital mapping software, and a dedicated fax and DSL line. Electronic transmission of reports is already a reality. All that is needed is a free download of Adobe Acrobat Reader, and an email address to receive the report. Appraisal orders can be placed by phone call, fax, or email. Comprehensive appraisal reports including digital color photos, color maps, computer drawn floor plans, secure digital signatures, and supporting documents can be sent by email in a matter of minutes. Software for Real Estate Appraisers is the forms software utilized by the office as well as Apex for floor plans. Appraisals are completed based on applicable ERC, FNMA, HUD, USPAP appraisal guidelines. We are located in the Northwest corner of Dallas County which allows a service radius through the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metro Area, and covers Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties.
